First tea of the new year

GBP69.00

A linocut — I pulled twenty prints from this block, and while not all of them came out well, every one came out unique. It's about that lost feeling on the first morning of the year: you wake up slightly dizzy, finish yesterday's salads, and drink tea to work out where you are and what year it is now. The head is cut off by the edge on purpose — it isn't switched on yet. Only what's in front of you matters: yesterday's food, fresh tea, and the garlands still hanging behind.

Hand-pulled linocut, edition of 20, each print slightly different. Price is for one print.
Paper: A4
Year: 2024
