Alexandra Park Trees

What interests me in trees is how they stand against the sky — especially the moment when red evening light lands on the trunks against cold blue, or against green leaves. One of several paintings of the trees in Alexandra Park, Penarth.

Mixed media painting on paper, unframed.
Painting: 56 × 42 cm (22 × 16.5 in)
